Phoenix Children's Hospital Partners With Super Star Car Wash

PHOENIX – From July through September, Super Star Car Wash is partnering with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to raise money and awareness for the hospital’s Child Passenger Safety Program. The partnership will allow customers to donate directly on point-of-sale systems, by purchasing a special wash and get information from special events to educate the public on car seat safety.

“Our cars are like a second home because of how much time we spend in them. This partnership is the perfect chance to help further our mission of helping communities we do business in, all while improving safety for kids in that second home,” said Jonathan Kierman, Super Star’s vice president of sales and marketing.

From July 1 through September 30, customers will be able to donate set amounts of money to Phoenix Children’s while purchasing a car wash. From August 1-September 30, a special “Make a Difference at a Distance” wash, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Phoenix Children’s, will be available. Lastly, on September 19, 24 and 25, Phoenix Children’s Child Passenger Safety team will be onsite at three different Super Star locations to educate the public on proper car seat safety for kids. The schedule is as follows, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each day:

September 25: 1905 W Baseline Rd, Phoenix AZ 85041

When we talked to them about these ideas, they were more than happy to help us improve kids’ safety while riding in cars,” said Blanca Villaseñor, a senior injury prevention specialist at Phoenix Children’s Center for Family Health and Safety.

Super Star Car Wash is a family-owned business headquartered in Phoenix. Locations span across the Southwest and West Coast in Arizona and California. Services offered include single washes and unlimited monthly plans for express washes, while full-service locations offer fluid changes and quick lube services, full-service washes and detailing.
