Phoenix will reopen 11 community centers to the public on June 7, with additional COVID-19 precautions in place.

PHOENIX, AZ — The Phoenix City Council voted to reopen 11 of the city's community centers in early June on Wednesday.
The tiered reopening plan for the centers, along with resuming the process for special park permits, special activity request permits and the resumption of pool rentals by high school swim and dive teams were all approved by the council.
All of the city-owned facilities mentioned have been closed since March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
