Phoenix Snaps 45-Day Dry Streak Thanks To Overnight Storm
Phoenix's 45-day dry spell has come to an end, as the National Weather Service's Sky Harbor site got .01 inches of rain overnight.

PHOENIX, AZ — If you blinked, you probably missed Phoenix's first measurable rainfall in more than a month.
That's because the Valley received exactly .01 inches of rain Tuesday morning, snapping Phoenix's 45-day dry spell, the National Weather Service's Phoenix office said.
The city has a slight chance at getting additional rainfall before the day is done, the service said.

So far this year, Phoenix has received 1.1 inches of rain, which is around half of the city's average amount, which is 2.1 inches, according to the weather service's data.
