Pride Celebrations In Phoenix: 2021 Guide
Pride events will go from June-November this year in Phoenix. Here's your 2021 guide to Pride events happening around the Valley.
PHOENIX, AZ — As more people get vaccinated and more places in the Valley begin to open up, Phoenix Pride is back after being cancelled last year during the pandemic. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as allies are invited to take part in Pride celebrations across the country.

June 9 — Viva La Vargas Drag Show: Karamba Nightclub is hosting its final installment of the weekly Viva La Vargas Drag Show at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The event, which has no cover, is hosted by Phoenix's Fernanda Vargas-West and features special guests each Wednesday.
June 11 — The Pride Drag Show: Stacy's @ Melrose is hosting a Pride Month-themed drag show on Friday night. The event, which runs from 9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., has no cover, with $5 VIP seats. Former Mr. Phoenix Pride titleholders Eddie Boradway, Kristofer V. Lee, Gray Matter, Carrington Hall-Dubois and Geo will be featured at the event, located in the heart of the Melrose Curve on 7th Avenue.

June 11 — Arizona Diamondbacks Pride Night: The Arizona Diamondbacks host the Los Angeles Angels at 7 p.m. on Friday night. For $30, attendees will receive a Pride Ticket Pack, including a rainbow-themed D-backs hat and a lower-level ticket to the ballgame. The D-backs will have Danielle Cortez, a transgender live content creator for Major League Baseball, throw out the ceremonial first pitch to Billy Bean, who is MLB's vice president of social responsibility & inclusion. Additionally, D-backs will also host the Phoenix gay Men's Chorus, who will perform The National Anthem.
June 11 — Phoenix Mercury Pride Night: The Phoenix Mercury host the Dallas Wings at 7 p.m. at Phoenix Suns Arena. Attendees will get a pride-themed Mercury T-shirt. More information on the game can be found on the Mercury's website.
June 18 — The Rocky Horror Hot Summer Nights Show: Tempe's Sun Studios is hosting a showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with shadow cast on one of the facility's soundstages. The event, which costs $15 for general admission or $25 for VIP reserved seating, includes a performance by Agents Of Lust, the live shadow cast, with full audience participation involved.
November:
Nov. 6-7: Phoenix Pride 2021 Festival: The 40th annual Phoenix Pride Festival is happening across two days in November this year, after being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The weekend's events start with the Phoenix Pride Parade, which kicks off at 10 a.m. on Nov. 6, starting at 3rd Street and Thomas Road and ending at 3rd Street and Indian School Road. The Phoenix Pride Festival is spread across two days at Steele Indian School Park, with Neon Trees, Melanie Fiona, Deborah Cox, Jody Watley and more playing. Tickets for the festival are $30 for one-day general admission, or $50 for two-day general admission. VIP tickets cost $100 for one-day admission, or $150 for two-day.
