Scottsdale Traffic Restrictions From June 19 Until 28
Arizona Department of Transportation has begun a project to widen and improve Loop 101 from Interstate 17 in Phoenix to Pima Road.

Loop 101 improvement project
The Arizona Department of Transportation has begun a project to widen and improve Loop 101 from Interstate 17 in Phoenix to Pima Road in Scottsdale. Following are current and upcoming restrictions:

- The westbound Loop 101 Scottsdale Road on-ramp will be closed from 9 p.m., Sunday, June 14, to Aug. 15. Detour: Access westbound Loop 101 at 64th Street or Hayden Road. The eastbound Scottsdale Road Loop 101 off-ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, June 21, to Aug. 22. Detour: Exit eastbound Loop 101 at Hayden Road or 64th Street. The westbound off-ramp and eastbound on-ramp at 64th Street will also be closed. For more information please view ADOT’s construction update.
- The westbound Loop 101 frontage road between Hayden and Scottsdale roads is closed through November. Detour: Use westbound Loop 101 or Legacy Boulevard between Hayden and Scottsdale roads.
Lane closures on Frank Lloyd Wright for road improvements (updated)
As part of Scottsdale’s pavement preservation program, the city will be improving Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 100th Street to Hayden Road. Intermittent lane restrictions will occur from Sunday, April 26, to Saturday, June 20. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times, but expect heavy delays. Please consider detouring on Cactus Road, 94th Street and Loop 101. Driveway entrances along Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard may be closed briefly for 10 to 15 minutes while the road is paved in front of them, but no other interruptions to service or business access are expected.

McDonald Drive reduced to one lane near Loop 101
McDonald Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direct between Pima Road and Loop 101 June 6 - July 3 for waterline and median work.
Multiple lane restrictions near Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard (updated)
Multiple lane restrictions will occur in both directions on Scottsdale Road from Mayo Boulevard to Princess Boulevard/Drive June 8 - July 31 for utility work.
Multiple lane restrictions near Osborn and Miller roads
Multiple lane restrictions will occur at or near the intersection of Osborn and Miller roads June 1 - July 24 (24 hours) for utility work.
Multiple lane restrictions at McDonald Drive and Granite Reef Road
Multiple lane restrictions will occur at McDonald Drive and Granite Reef Road 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays through Friday, July 10, for traffic signal upgrades.
