Truck Hits Cyclists In Show Low; 6 Injured, Suspect Shot: Report
Police are working to determine why a man drove his truck through a line of cyclists during Show Low's Bike The Bluff race.
SHOW LOW, AZ — At least six bicyclists were seriously injured Saturday after a truck hit them during an annual road race in Show Low. The suspect was also shot by police as they tried to apprehend him, according to reports.
Police told Phoenix-based Fox 10 that a black Ford truck hit multiple bicyclists during the city's Bike The Bluff road race. The driver fled before he was tracked down and ultimately shot by police.
Others also sustained minor injuries and sought medical treatment on their own, Fox 10 reported.
