6 Local Artists Kicking Off Tempe Playlist Outdoor Concert Series
The city of Tempe is kicking off its Tempe Playlist outdoor concert series June 25 at Tempe Sports Complex. Here's what to know about it.
TEMPE, AZ — The city of Tempe is launching its newest local music concert series, Tempe Playlist on June 25.
The program, which is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, in partnership with AZ Beat Lab and TopKat Studios, kicks off at Tempe Sports Complex, with music from 8-11 p.m., the city said.
The Tempe program will provide a performance space for 51 local musicians, with the inaugural event featuring music from the following acts:

- Remi Goode (8 p.m.)
- Grupo BombAZo (8:30 p.m.)
- Rozotadi (9 p.m.)
- The Chicharras (9:30 p.m.)
- Banana Gun (10 p.m.)
- Chrome Rhino (10:30 p.m.)
The free event features a variety of music genres, ranging from cumbia to hip-hop and rock, creating a truly unique, Tempe musical experience.
There will be food trucks, in addition to a beer and wine garden at the Tempe Sports Complex for the Tempe Playlist series, the city said.
