Crash Shuts Down Ramp From US 60 to I-10 Freeway in Tempe
A crash involving a tractor-trailer closed down the transition ramp from the US 60 to the eastbound I-10 in Tempe Wednesday.
TEMPE, AZ — A tractor-trailer crashed and shut down the transition ramp between the U.S. 60 and eastbound Interstate 10 freeways in Tempe on Wednesday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

A semi-truck rolled over on the ramp, but the cause is currently unknown.
The crash also temporarily closed the westbound lanes on the U.S. 60, which have since reopened. The transition ramp remains blocked and the department could not offer a time for reopening.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the trailer was full of soda and the clean-up won't be complete until later this evening.

The contents of the truck have to be removed before the truck can be uprighted to clear the transition ramp.
