TEMPE, AZ — National chain restaurant I Heart Mac & Cheese is opening its first Arizona location in Tempe on April 14 with an offer to remember.

That's because the first person to buy a meal at the location, which is inside The Shops at Warner Village on Warner Road and Priest Drive, will receive free mac & cheese for a year, according to a company release.

The Tempe location will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. initially, with 10 percent of the opening day's proceeds going to nonprofit Tempe Community Action Agency, which aims to improve the lives of seniors, adults and families in Tempe by helping them transition to greater economic independence.
