Summer Is Back In Arizona: Where To Cool Off In Tempe
The city of Tempe has several cooling stations where people can go to escape the triple-digit temperatures. Here's where you can go.

TEMPE, AZ — Summer's back in the Grand Canyon State, which means triple-digit temperatures are here to stay.
The National Weather Service's Phoenix office expects highs in the greater Tempe area to remain between 103 and 107 degrees between Thursday and Tuesday.
The Maricopa Association of Governments and Salvation Army have dozens of cooling and hydration centers around the region set up for those in need of reprieve from the scorching heat.

A full map of the centers can be found here, with the following locations inside the Tempe city limits set up to welcome those looking to beat the heat this weekend:
- City of Tempe - Kiwanis Recreation Center: 6111 S. All America Way, Monday-Friday: 7 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday-Sunday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- The Salvation Army - Tempe Corps.: 40 E. University Dr., Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- Tempe Community Action Network: 2146 E. Apache Blvd., Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Terros Health - Priest Drive Recovery Center: 1642 S. Priest Dr., Suite 101, Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
