Brazen Arkansas Inmate Escapes Twice, Falls Through Ceiling, Nabbed Again

Bryan Baldwin was arrested Sunday after falling through the ceiling of a Wynne home. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

WYNNE, AR — Slippery Arkansas inmate Bryan Baldwin is back in custody following a pair of brazen escapes and a fall through the ceiling of a Wynne home.

Baldwin was first arrested in August on a DWI charge. He took off before police could finish booking him, but was caught last week. He then escaped again Friday, this time through a fence surrounding the Cross County jail's exercise yard, Sheriff J.R. Smith said.

Baldwin, 43, was found hiding in the attic of a Wynne home. He was arrested Sunday after falling through the ceiling and onto the floor below. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and now faces charges including two counts of third-degree escape.
