Home BancShares Announces $14.8M In Third Quarter Earnings

CONWAY, AR — Falling short of Wall Street's expectations, Home BancShares Inc. (HOMB) reported Thursday third-quarter earnings of $14.8 million.

The Arkansas-based bank said it had earnings of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 32 cents per share. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 33 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $145.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $128.2 million.

Home BancShares shares have fallen 8 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 27 percent in the last 12 months.
