City Of Little Rock Encourages Residents, Business Owners, To Participate In National Volunteer Week

Impact the Rock: A Day of Unity and Service is scheduled for April 17.

The City of Little Rock, in partnersImpact the Rock: A Day of Unity and Service.Impact the Rock: A Day of Unity and Service.hip with Audubon Arkansas and Central Arkansas Water, is seeking area residents and business owners to help kick off National Volunteer Week on April 17 from 9 a.m. to noon with Impact the Rock: A Day of Unity and Service.

Those interested can sign up for any of nine beautification or cleanup projects at LittleRock.gov/volunteer. Residents and groups may also organize their own project and volunteers who are already part of the City Adopt-a-Street, Adopt-a-Park, Adopt-a-Trail or Adopt-a-Flowerbed programs are encouraged work in their areas April 17. Volunteers are encouraged to email project details and hours worked to Karen Sykes at ksykes@littlerock.gov.
