Little Rock West Central Community Center Seeks Submissions For Youth Art Contest

The City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s West Central Community Center is inviting student artists to submit works for the Lots of Art, youth art contest.

Cash prizes will be awarded in three divisions: Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Interested students may pick up submission forms at the community center, 4521 John Barrow Road. Artwork must be submitted by April 16.

Judging will take place April 17 to 21 and winners will be announced at a reception held in the community center parking lot for Youth Art Week featuring performances by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Arkansas. The reception will be held at 10 a.m. on April 24 in the community center parking lot. Contestants must be present to win.
