A Northern California man supporting president Donald Trump hung a mannequin of Joe Biden with the word "cheater" attached.
BRENTWOOD, CA — A Northern California man and supporter of president Donald Trump hung a mannequin resembling Joe Biden from a second-story home with a rope last week, NBC News reported. The man's home was vandalized Friday.
The incident was reported after protests broke out Thursday night to decry the disturbing display of Biden, prompting police to block nearby streets off, NBC News reported. Reports of the effigy were also handed over to the U.S. Secret Service, police said.
The effigy of Biden, of whom was projected to win the presidency Saturday, had the word "cheater" attached to it, NBC News wrote. As a result, those disturbed by the display took their anger out on the man's property in Brentwood around midnight Friday.
