Fire Burns Through Home Of California Firefighter
Firefighters are raising money to help the family of Bobby Land after they lost everything in a recent blaze.

JACKSON, CA -- A fundraiser was underway Saturday after a California fighter lost his home in a blaze. The fire happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday in Jackson, Calif., according to a GoFundMe page set up for the Land family.
The GoFundMe page said the fire ruined the home of Bobby Land, a volunteer firefighter in Jackson, and his wife, Chelsea, and their children, Kaylena and Nathan.
"Bobby works for the Jackson Rancheria as a security guard, and is also a volunteer Firefighter with the Jackson Fire Department," the GoFundMe page said. "His brothers and sisters rushed to his aid, and when Bobby found out that there was a fire at his home, he responded as well. When Bobby arrived and saw his family was safe, he suited up and was ready to work."

The GoFundMe described Bobby Land as "the most dedicated and passionate firefighters on the Jackson Fire Department." It asked the public to help raise $5,000 to help the family rebuild their lives after the blaze.
"Sometimes even our own first responders need a little help as well," the GoFundMe page said. "We are raising money to help support Bobby and his family in their time of need, with purchasing new clothing, furniture and toys for their kids. 100% of all money donated will be given directly to Bobby and Chelsea to help them rebuild what they have lost."
