So many people are doing incredible work here in California. Meet some of them here, presented by Ring!

CALIFORNIA — Patch has partnered with Ring to shine a spotlight on the neighborhood heroes who are making a difference in their communities, whether it's the clerk at your local grocery store who went above and beyond to help you, the nurse who tended a sick family member or the stranger who showed you a moment of kindness.

Anthony Barazza of Lake Forest is a neighborhood hero who has done much to reduce crime in the community. Mike Padgett shared a story about how Barazza managed to recover a package of priceless family heirlooms that had been stolen from his car. Learn more here.

Mary Corani is a service dog instructor who lives in Gilroy. Mary founded Operation Freedom Paws in 2010, providing veterans who suffer from PTSD with shelter dogs that offer life-saving companionship to those who truly need it. Learn more here.

10-year-old Bianca Canales from Banning wanted to show her appreciation for the firefighters on the Morongo reservation. Bianca saved money from her birthday and gave the essential workers snack bags to provide some relief from the grueling shifts. Learn more here.
