CALIFORNIA — As the Memorial Day weekend holiday kicks off, numerous restaurants throughout California are offering cheap eats and specials.

DICKEY'S BARBECUE PIT: On Monday, participating Dickey’s are offering a slow-smoked special with online ordering for take-out: the Classic Family Pack for four at $34.99 with 1 pound of pulled pork, 1 pound of brisket, barbecue beans, cabbage slaw, potato salad, six rolls, barbecue sauce, pickles and onions. A trio special kicks off, too, with a $3 Classic Sandwich, a $6 Westerner Sandwich and a $9 Westerner Plate. For $2 each, guests can add Dickey’s St. Louis-style ribs by the pound.
