Restaurant Week 2021: Guide To The Best In California

CALIFORNIA — "Restaurant Week," a promotional concept created years ago by the tourism trade, typically begins in January throughout a slew of California cities.

This year, things look a little different. The list of participating cities is shorter. And a few organizers opted to move their events to spring.

But there still are several Restaurant Weeks (some spanning more than a week!) planned for 2021 with a focus on takeout. The industry sorely needs patrons' support as it struggles through pandemic fallout. So peruse the list, see if any are going on near you, and consider ordering from your favorite restaurants or try new ones.

As more Restaurant Weeks are announced, we will add them to the guide.

JAN. 21-31: Alameda Restaurant Week 2021. Restaurant list will feature prix-fixe menu specials.
