CALIFORNIA — Restaurants, bakeries and doughnut shops throughout California are making it easy to share the love this Valentine's Day with special sweets, treats and dining deals.

Feb. 14 falls on a Sunday this year, so some specials run over the weekend. And some eateries require pre-ordering several days in advance. We've rounded up some of the most unique and tastiest offers for Patch's annual dining guide. Scroll through to see what's going on near you.

From Feb. 10-14, CPK’s Valentine’s deals include heart-shaped pizzas and prix-fixe “Sweet Deal for Two” takeout ($35), with appetizer, two entrees and dessert, and “Sweet Deal Packages” ($35) with appetizer, two entrées, dessert and heart-shaped pizza.
