3-Car Crash Closes Malibu Canyon Road In Agoura Hills
A woman was airlifted to a hospital with a major head injury after the crash.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — A woman suffering from a major head injury was airlifted to a hospital Saturday after a three-vehicle crash on Malibu Canyon Road in Agoura Hills that shut down the road south of Piuma Road, more than two hours, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 5:52 p.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Stephen Brandt said.
The vehicles included a dark BMW, a black Volkswagen and a gray SUV, witnesses told the CHP.

At least one person was trapped inside a vehicle and the extent of any other injuries was not available, Brandt said. The airlifted patient was female and at least two others were taken to hospitals.
A SigAlert was issued at 6:14 p.m. shutting down all lanes in both directions of Malibu Canyon Road south of Piuma Road, he said.

The road was reopened about 8:15 p.m.
