Agoura Hills' First CBD Store Offering Free Delivery: Coronavirus
Agoura Hills' first CBD store, CBD Comfort Zone, was founded by Agoura natives Stu and Debbi Meyer.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — If COVID-19 is making you anxious and stir-crazy, help could be on the way in the form of tinctures and creams: Agoura Hills is welcoming its first CBD store, CBD Comfort Zone, which is offering free local delivery during the coronavirus pandemic. It is also offering a 15% discount to health care, grocery, delivery, and other frontline workers.
Agoura natives Debbi and Stu Meyer established their second location a little over two weeks ago. Even though the coronavirus prevented the grand opening they’d originally planned, Debbi said they’ve been pleasantly surprised by the community’s enthusiastic reaction. “People are actually much more open to the concept of CBD and the medicinal effects,” she said. “There are a lot of people in their 60s and 70s who have been going to dispensaries to purchase their CBD products, and a lot of people are so happy that they don’t have to go to a dispensary to get what they need.”
CBD – or cannabidiol – is a cannabinoid that contains many of the benefits of cannabis without its psychoactive qualities. Though research on its efficacy is divided, some studies have shown that it can help alleviate a number of mental and physical disorders.

Almost exactly five years ago, Stu had a brain cancer surgery that left him with debilitating neuropathy. He tried a range of treatments, from pharmaceuticals to acupuncture, but it wasn’t until he tried a CBD topical cream and tincture that the pain finally went away. He decided he wanted to help others in the same way by learning all that he could about CBD products so that he could provide high-quality, effective products and detailed guidance to customers of what was at the time an under-regulated industry. The Meyers soon opened up their first Comfort Zone store in Montrose, near where they live in La Crescenta-Montrose.
Now, their two stores provide curated, high-quality products for reasonable prices. “We wanted to bring products without breaking people’s banks to get the results they’re looking for,” said Debbi.
