'The Bachelor' Leaves Behind Agoura Hills Mansion In Season 25
The show was shot in a more exclusive location on the other side of the country because of the coronavirus pandemic. Here's where.

MALIBU, CA — Viewers of 25th season of "The Bachelor" on Monday might have noticed a lack of palm trees. That's because this year's season was not filmed at The Bachelor Mansion in Malibu, but instead at a resort in Pennsylvania.
Matt James's season of "The Bachelor" was shot at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in the western Pennsylvania town of Farmington.
Situated in the Allegheny Mountains, the resort encompasses several buildings including The Chateau — seen in the show's backdrop — along with Falling Rock, The Homes, Arden Estates and The Lodge, which is closed until 2022.

Oprah Magazine reports the show was filmed in Arden Estates, one of the resort's standalone hotels.
Nemacolin's website described the estates as "Extraordinary private estate offerings, each tastefully designed to provide the perfect elegant escape for large groups and families."

The show was relocated to the resort this year out of concern for the coronavirus pandemic, Distractify reports. The move was intended to better help keep the cast and crew safe during production.
While this season will not include off-site dates, the hotel offers activities like zip lining, paintball, a spa, a golf course and more, according to the report.
Meanwhile, The Bachelor Mansion in Augora Hills is available to rent on Airbnb for $5,999 a night.
The 10-acre estate, also known as Villa de la Vina, includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and sleeping arrangements for over 13 guests, according to Airbnb.
" We offer our guests more than just the home, we also supply our guests with access to one of the most famous pools in the world, two jacuzzis, a pool table, handcrafted furniture, eye-popping views, and enormous outdoor space all perfectly packaged for your stay. We are the perfect place for your next vacation," the listing states.
But a stay at the mansion does come with limitations. According to the listing, parties, professional photography and professional gatherings are banned.
"If this rule is not followed, you will be shut down immediately and the police will be called for trespassing. Anyone who is not originally communicated to be on property will be immediately told to leave by ownership and subject to fines," the listing reads.
James, who is "The Bachelor's" first Black contestant was initially cast to be a bachelor on the 16th season of "The Bachelorette," but when production was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic was switched to be the lead for the 25th season of "The Bachelor."
James was a receiver for Wake Forest from 2011-14. He is a New York City-based associate with CBRE Group, Inc. the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, providing brokerage and transaction management services to a wide range of companies
James also founded ABC Food Tours, a nonprofit organization that takes groups of children from underserved elementary schools to restaurants in their local communities.
The 25th season of the reality show features 32 bachelorettes vying for James' affection. Two contestants — Casandra Suarez and Amber Andrews — are from Orange County, and another three — Victoria Larson, Marylynn Sienna and Carolyn Vallejo — are from Los Angeles.
