Best Agoura-Area Pumpkin Patches 2020

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Not even pumpkin patches are escaping the coronavirus in 2020. The ongoing pandemic means many of the region’s pumpkin patches have had to adjust hours, regulations and activities as they head into fall. The beloved Calabasas Pumpkin Festival has postponed its activities until fall 2021.

Fortunately, the coronavirus has only changed — not completely closed — your favorite pumpkin patch and its offerings this fall. Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches near Agoura Hills.

Moorpark Farm Center

Address: 3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark

Season opening/closing dates: Oct. 1 -31 (for Fall Harvest)

Attractions: Wagon rides, corn trail ride-through, pick your own pumpkin patch, pick your own fields, Pumpkin House, giant tractor, misting tunnel, hay pyramid, pull wagons, wheelbarrows, roaming performers (on weekends) country store, animal viewing

Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pricing: $8 Monday-Friday, $15 Saturday-Sunday. Pre-sale discounted online tickets for Oct. 3, 4, and 31 available Sept. 1 through Oct. 2. Children under 2 are free. Seniors, military, veterans, and emergency first responders get $2 admission discount daily, with valid ID. Season pass holders get free admission weekdays and half-price admission weekends.

Nights of the Jack

Address: King Gillette Ranch, 26800 Mullholland Highway, Calabasas

Season opening/closing dates: Oct. 1 - Nov. 1

Attractions: One-mile, self-guided drive-thru experience with larger than life pumpkin installations and detailed artist depictions of celebrities.

Hours: 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Pricing: $69 for one vehicle with up to 7 people, $20 add-on for 8-12 people. Advance tickets required.
