Burglar Uses Chair on Top of Shed to Enter Agoura Home

A diamond ring, worth $10,000, and a safe were taken from the Agoura home.

A diamond ring, valued at $10,000 was stolen from an Agoura home in August.

The burglary was reported on Aug. 15 on Parkview Court near Liberty Canyon Road in Agoura, according to the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station.

A size-six diamond ring, worth $10,000, and a sentry safe, valued at $150, were taken from the home, investigators said.

The homeowner reported that his son left his bedroom window on the upper level open, and that the screen was torn.

The suspect put a chair on top of a shed to get into the son’s bedroom.
