Deadly Newbury Park Crash Victim Identified: Report

NEWBURY PARK, CA — The victim of a deadly crash in Newbury Park on Saturday has been identified as 21-year-old Kenneth Neal Jr., of Los Angeles, the Ventura County Star reports.

According to the publication, the man died of head and chest injuries in the crash, which happened in the 1700 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard. Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

In a news release last week, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office said Neal's car was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Authorities said Neal's car was heading northbound on Rancho Conejo Boulevard when it drove off the road near the Conejo Spectrum Street intersection.
