The Scandinavian Autumn Fest and Marknad Celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun., Sept. 19 at Vasa Park, 2854 Triunfo Canyon Road, Agoura Hills.
Enjoy the tastes of Sweden and traditional foods, such as varmborv med brod or vetebrod and kakor. Of course, there will be great meatballs and lingonberries all day long too. This year, for the first time, you can have breakfast and try our Swedish meatball omelette! Beyond the great foods, you will also be able to buy beautifully crafted gifts and souvenirs.Â
Who is going to win bragging rights for the Best Swedish Meatball 2010? With lodges from all over Southern California participating, we are expecting the meatball competition to be fierce. The best news is that everyone can be a judge. For $5, you will receive meatballs from each lodge and a scoring sheet to judge which meatball deserves your vote. The winner will be announced at 2 p.m. and trophies and cash prizes will be awarded. Be a part of meatball history and help judge our second Meatball Cook-Off at Vasa Park.
