4. City Council Meeting: Parking Restrictions, Zoning Ordinance
The Council meets at 7 p.m. in Chambers to approve "No Stopping Any Time" parking signs on the north side of Canwood, among other items. AÂ public hearing will be held to introduce Ordinance No. 11-383 for first reading, which would amend the Zoning Ordiannce by adopting new standards and definitions for mobile homes, community care facilities, single-room occupancy hotels, transitional housing, emergency shelters, and inclusionary housing requirements for condominium conversions.Â

Stage hypnotist Tom Silver, who has more than 25 years experience, brings his highly entertaining show to at 7 p.m. Silver's shows promise to be high energy, and guaranteed fun for everyone, according to The Canyon's event description. Doors open at 6 p.m. Show is on at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for Gold Circle and $10 for General Admission.Â
