Heat Advisory Issued In Calabasas
Temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 90s for at least three days throughout the Conejo Valley.
CALABASAS, CA — The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for the Conejo Valley, where temperatures are expected to climb into the triple digits starting Thursday.
The advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. Thursday to 9 p.m. Saturday, and has also been issued in the San Gabriel Valley, the Santa Clarita Valley, the Santa Monica Mountains, and the interior and coastal valleys in Ventura County.
Highs in Calabasas will reach 103 on Thursday, go up to 107 on Friday, and stay at 104 Saturday. Temperatures over the next few days are expected to remain in the upper 90s.

“Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors,” the National Weather Service advised. “Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.”
