Heat Wave Scorches Agoura Hills, Temps Near Triple Digits

Temperatures are expected to reach 98 mid-Wednesday.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — As political demonstrations heat up all over the Southland, actual temperatures are heating up as well.

Temperatures will reach 98 in Agoura Hills Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Despite the scorching temperatures, the National Weather Service has not issued any heat advisory as of 10:30 Wednesday.

The temperature will cool down Wednesday night to around 61, but will climb back up on Thursday, reaching highs in the upper 80s. Temperatures are expected cool down Friday, and remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s throughout the weekend.

Today: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 98. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east southeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 88. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 56. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Patchy fog before 11 am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 76. South southwest wind as high as 15 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.
