Hempstead Drive will be closed to traffic on Halloween for festivities from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Each year, residents travel to Hempstead Drive to take in the decorations. The city approved the closure of the street to keep revelers safe.Â
Only locals with a drivers license or other form of identification will be allowed to drive through.
