Hilton Foundation Donates $2.3 Million for New Recreation and Senior Center
The center will allow for the development of more services and programs.

The planned recreation and senior center in Agoura is a step closer to reaching its $10.3 million fundraising goal thanks to a $2.3 million donation from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
Steven M. Hilton, Chairman, President and CEO of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, said he learned of the plans for the recreation and senior center when the foundation built a campus in Agoura in November.
"We feel this is a unique opportunity to help both young and old, so that City services can positively impact their lives and strengthen our community," Hilton said.
The donation was made Aug. 20 in a vote by the Board of Directors of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
The center will be located at 29900 Ladyface Court, and will allow for the development of more services and programs, including social services, outreach for at-risk teens and isolated seniors, and transportation to and from the site.
