Meet An “Amazing” Couple Full Of Care & Compassion

Ann, 78 and Al Hill, 79, finally retired from their 30+ years fostering some 100 girls.

Ann, 78 and Al Hill, 79, finally retired from their 30+ years fostering some 100 girls, mostly teenagers, an astonishing undertaking the couple began once their own two daughters went off to college. Having met in high school, Ann and Al have been married 53 years.

Al served in Vietnam, worked as a bus driver and manager for 37 years. He helped his wife foster the girls. But what’s really remarkable about Ann and Al is that they see nothing extraordinary in what they did. To them, providing hearth, home and guidance to young girls in need was the most natural thing to do. And to this day, some of those fostered girls still call and visit.
