Meet An “Amazing” Who Has An Eye For Style

Patricia Field, at 79, is off on a new fashion design adventure: the new Starz series “Run the World,” which focuses on the professional and personal lives of four Black female friends. The mix of the professional and personal aspects of the women’s lives appeals to her much as “Sex in the City” did – for which Patricia received numerous costume and fashion design awards.

“Sex in the City,” along with “The Devil Wears Prada,” are perhaps two of the best known projects Patricia has worked on, but certainly not the only ones. She’s been a known and respected stylist since the 1970s.

A native New Yorker, daughter of an Armenian father and Greek mother, Patricia supports a number of charities, among which are the Children of Armenia Fund and The Lower Eastside Girls Club.
