Meet An “Amazing” Who Relishes The Excitement Of Police Work

LC "Buckshot" Smith, at 91, still loves the job he’s been at for some 56 years – police officer. He did try to retire at 80, but that didn’t last. Buckshot found himself missing the work so much, he came back, much to the delight of the Camden, Arkansas police force. And the townspeople as well, for Buckshot is known and appreciated by pretty much everybody.

In addition to his police duties, Buckshot is a court bailiff, helps out with annual festivals in Camden, and conducts the neighborhood watch. Oh, and there’s church on Sundays and time enjoyed with his S.O. Clearly not a man destined for retirement.
