K Callan, at 84, keeps wowing us with her astonishing talent. In her most recent feature film role, as the matriarch of the all-time dysfunctional family in “Knives Out,” K manages to convey almost exclusively through her expressions, a world of emotion that other actors would need to support with vocal tone and body language. Perhaps most famous for her role as Clark Kent’s mother in the ABC-TV series “Lois & Clark, The New Adventures of Superman,” K debuted in another classic, “Route 66.”
