Neverland Ranch Up For Sale, Elusive Llama Included

A mere $100 million is all it takes to live in Neverland. Sycamore Valley Ranch, formerly known as the Neverland Ranch until Michael Jackson sold it in 2008, was listed for sale at the end of May, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The enigmatic “Neverland Clock” is said to be still there. The carnival rides are long gone, although one of them makes an annual appearance at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton every July. Most of the menagerie was relocated, with the exception of a single llama, which has been reported to still roam the sprawling 2,700 acre property in California.

The “King of Pop” lived in Neverland for 15 years after buying the property in 1987. Since then, it has been an unofficial Southern California tourist attraction. Tourists and Jacko devotees in California regularly make the trek to Neverland to pay homage to the late pop star, signing the rocks and the gates found on the exterior of the property. Many who visit post photos on the “Neverland Front Gate” page on Yelp.
