Owners Of Borderline Bar & Grill Open New Venue In Agoura Hills

AGOURA HILLS, CA — The owners of Borderline Bar & Grill, where a gunman opened fire in 2018 killing 12 people, have opened a new location in Agoura Hills.

The BL Dancehall & Saloon features a custom-built dance floor, a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, a game room with pool tables, a patio with an outside bar, and a stage for live performances, the owners announced on Facebook in November.

On Thanksgiving, a day for reflecting on what to be grateful for, the owners announced they would be expanding with a new location. Just a year after the tragic mass shooting, Borderline staff are refusing to give up: they are rebuilding the Thousand Oaks location and expanded with a new Agoura Hills venue so the weekly country music dance nights can live on.

"From the owners of the Borderline Bar & Grill and the rest of the Borderline family, we would like to welcome you all to our NEW home away from home," the Borderline Bar & Grill staff wrote on Facebook. "While the construction and reopening process continues at 99 Rolling Oaks Dr. in Thousand Oaks, we have decided to open in a brand new beautiful venue in Agoura Hills owned and operated by the Borderline owners and staff to provide you all with a place we can all call home during the long rebuilding process of The Borderline Bar & Grill."
