Powerball Win Worth $301 Million
The drawing was the 17th since the last time a winner was picked. Lucky ticket came from Michigan.

A ticket with all six numbers in tonight’s multi- state Powerball lottery drawing was sold in Michigan and the jackpot was $301 million.
The numbers drawn were 21, 39, 40, 55, 59 and the Powerball number was 17.
The drawing was the 17th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a supermarket in Antioch in the San Francisco Bay Area and is worth $1,771,065.

Three other tickets -- one each sold in Connecticut, Nebraska and Wisconsin -- also had five numbers, but missed the Powerball number. They are each worth $1 million.
California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
One Match 5 Winners Power Play ticket was sold in Rhode Island and is worth $2 million.
The jackpot for Saturday’s game will be $40 million.
The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
