Remembering Veronika Weiss, UCSB Student

They packed the stands at Westlake High School's pool, where Veronika Weiss once played water polo.

They were a community grieving at the loss of one so young, so vibrant. 

Weiss was one of six victims of Elliot Rodger, a Santa Barbara City College student who went on a murderous rampage Friday, stabbing his three roommates to death before driving to Isla Vista, where he drove recklessly and shot first purposely at a sorority house and then randomly.

All were UC Santa Barbara students.
