Safari Spring Camp at Triunfo YMCA: April 2 – 6
Each day highlights STEM activities and safari-related crafts and games.

"Spring Into The Safari" is this year's theme of the Triunfo YMCA's spring camp. The STEM-focused camp is April 2 through April 6 at the YMCA childcare site at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). It coincides with spring break.
Each day highlights STEM activities and safari-related crafts and games. Monday features zebra slime that shows the chemistry between math and science. On Tuesday, children will use engineering skills to make rhino straw rocket ships to discover the science of gravity. With an onsite visit from CReATE Studio, Wednesday is a day full of animal fun. On Thursday, campers take a walking trip for ice cream and Friday they participate in lion limbo, whip up safari fruit salad and banana splits and make parrot keychains.
“Campers spend the week having fun playing games and creating art while learning about nature and animals,” says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA associate executive director.
