Sometimes you need an afternoon pick-me-up. Where do you get yours?

Not everyone knows it, but Patch editors don't often work from the office. We have a regional office in Beverly Hills, but usually, we stay close to home so we can cover breaking news that comes up and just spend time in the community.

Spending time with community members is a great way for us to get tips about articles. But spending time with community members involves getting out and about, so you might see us working from Starbucks or other local businesses. 

On Thursday, I met with editor Jessica Davis at Wildflour Bakery for a late lunch, but we couldn't resist a little something from its sweets case. It lead us to wonder where we should try next time for a sweet treat.
