Southland Gasoline Prices Drop For Second Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell 1.1 cents today to $4.05, the consecutive drop after about two weeks of price run-ups.

The average price is 5.6 cents more than one week ago and 17.5 cents higher than one month ago, but 10.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
