Sweet Recipes For Valentine's Day
Don't just head out to the store for a box of chocolates, bake something special for your sweetheart.

What is the sweetest way to ask your valentine to "be mine?" Some might say it's chocolates, others might suggest a fancy dinner. However, there's something about tossing some flour and butter in the air to usher in romance.
Strawberry Hazlenut Torte
Palisadian Phyllis Amboss said she encountered a recipe for a Strawberry Hazelnut Torte in an old Australian cookbook. Amboss tweaked the recipe and she came up with her own version, which is posted on the Taste of Home website.
The torte involves layers of meringues, cream and berries.

"This beautiful dessert is a very big hit at parties," said Amboss on the Taste of Home website.

Cookie Dough Truffles
