Triunfo YMCA Spring Basketball League Taking Signups
The Triunfo YMCA is signing up participants for its co-ed spring basketball league.

The Triunfo YMCA is signing up participants for its co-ed spring basketball league. Boys and girls age three through 14 are eligible. The eight-game season begins March 19. A skills assessment day is Sunday, February 21 at Deerhill Park (6700 Doubletree Rd., Oak Park). Assessments are at 10:00 a.m. for ages 7 and 8 and 11:00 a.m. for ages 9 through 14.
The league is semi-competitive and is focused on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork and having fun. No prior playing experience is necessary. Divisions are ages 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 through 11 and 12 through 14.
Games will be played on Saturdays at Agoura High School, with playoffs to follow for teams with kids ages 7 and up.

Each participant receives a uniform and trophy. The cost is $160 plus a $40 YMCA program membership fee for YMCA nonmembers. Those participants who cannot attend the skills assessment (and kids under age six) will be assigned teams.
