Triunfo YMCA Thanksgiving Space Exploration Camp—Nov. 21 - 23
The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura and Oak Park, is holding its annual Thanksgiving Camp November 21 through the 23.
The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura and Oak Park, is holding its annual Thanksgiving Camp November 21 through the 23 at its Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills) childcare facility. The Las Virgenes Unified School District is closed the week of Thanksgiving.
Campers ages 5 through 14 will take part in a variety of supervised indoor and outdoor activities. This year’s camp theme is “Space is the Place.”
Monday, November 21 will focus on space and space exploration. On Tuesday, November 22, a “mad scientist” visits and there will be galaxy dodgeball and space tag. On Wednesday, November 23, campers work on a STEM project, make foot print rockets and edible solar system snack art. Campers will also take a walking trip to Rite Aid for ice cream.

"The camp packs in lots of science, learning and fun into just three days,” says Jennifer Silveria, Triunfo YMCA program director.
Before and after camp childcare is provided at no extra cost. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fee is $152 for all three days (no daily rates). For more information, call the Triunfo YMCA at 818-707-9622 or email Jennifer Silveria at jsilveria@sevymca.org.
