Veterans Day 2016: What's Open and What's Closed
Government offices will be closed in observance of the holiday, but many businesses will remain open.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA -- Government offices, courts, schools, libraries, banks and post offices will be closed Friday for Veterans Day.
The stock and commodity exchanges and many businesses, however, will remain open. Many restaurants will also be offering specials for veterans and active duty military, so the wait may be longer than usual.
Trash will be collected as usual throughout the county.
