Winter Fun at Yarrow YMCA Camp Begins December 26
The Yarrow Family YMCA will host its annual winter camp from December 26 throughDecember 28 and January 2 through January 4.
The Yarrow Family YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, will host its annual winter camp from December 26 through December 28 and January 2 through January 4. The camp coincides with winter school break.
The camp will be held at the YMCA facility at Willow Elementary School (29026 Laro Dr., Agoura Hills). Both weeks will have a STEAM focus. Week one activities include making Rice Krispie snowflakes, straw painting and creating a balloon tower. Week two features making dragon egg paper mache, marble painting and cooking activities. Both weeks feature outdoor sports and a walking trip to Sumac Park.
The camp is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Camp hours (including before and after daycare) are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost is $165 per week. Campers need to bring a sack lunch, water and a sweatshirt or sweater each day.
