2 Men Arrested In Death Of Alameda Man
The body of Donald Stanifer was found in Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve in the Oakland hills last year.

ALAMEDA, CA — Two young men were arrested Friday as suspects in the slaying of an Alameda man last year, East Bay Regional Park District police said Monday.
Elijah Jordan-Brooks, 21, of Pittsburg and Marquise Johnson-Simon, 22, of Oakland were arrested and are expected to be charged with murder and accessory charges, respectively.
Alameda man Donald Stanifer, 21, was found dead in July of last year in Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve in the Oakland hills.

Stanifer's body was found on the side of a trail near the parking lot, according to police and park officials.
Stanifer graduated from Encinal Junior and Senior High School in Alameda, according to a GoFundMe page set up to raise money to find him.

He had been reported missing before his body was found in the preserve.
