Alameda Company Makes Inc's 2021 Fastest-Growing List

The new regional list released by Inc. ranks the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S., including here in Alameda.

ALAMEDA, CA — Inc. this week introduced its 2021 list of the 1,500 fastest-growing privately-held companies in six regions around the United States, including California.

One Alameda company made the list — Center for Social Dynamics.

The company landed slot 221 with a 59 percent growth rate. The company provides in-home services to children and adults with developmental delays, including autism.

The other five regions are Texas, Florida, D.C Metro, Midwest, and N.Y. Metro.

The regional recognition is an expansion of Inc's annual list that offers a look into 5,000 of the most successful small businesses led by some of the country's most inspiring entrepreneurs.

Mixing sports metaphors, Inc. said, "If the Inc. 5000 represents the big league, the Inc. 5000 Regionals are the AAA level—pitting local favorites against one another on a proving ground for national stardom. The winners are fresh out of the gate—still racing toward their best."

Well-known honorees on previous Inc. 5000 lists include Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft and Patagonia.

Inc. selected 250 California companies for its regional list.
